Colors And Shapes Inspire Me…

Colors have always played a significant role in my artistic process. From the warm tones of a sunset to the cool hues of a rainy day, colors have the power to evoke emotions, convey mood, and create atmosphere. In my paintings, I often experiment with bold and bright colors to create a sense of energy and vibrancy. I find that using a palette of warm colors, such as oranges, yellows, and reds, can create a sense of warmth and coziness, while cool colors like blues, greens, and purples can evoke a sense of calmness and serenity.

Shapes are another key element in my artistic vocabulary. I believe that shapes have the power to convey meaning and emotion in their own right, and to add depth and complexity to my paintings. From geometric shapes like triangles and squares to organic forms like curves and spirals, I use a variety of shapes to create a sense of balance and harmony in my compositions.
One of the challenges of working with shapes is finding the right balance between simplicity and complexity. I often begin a painting with simple, geometric shapes, and then gradually add more complex forms to create a sense of tension and release. By manipulating the scale, proportion, and orientation of my shapes, I can create a sense of movement and energy in my compositions, and to guide the viewer’s eye through the painting.
